I used to live with Jimmy (as roommates, we didn’t date or anything), and I stumbled upon this blog post b/c I periodically would search for him online while trying to track down his favorite song from 1999/2000 (he put the thing on repeat at full-blast for weeks on end, and I learned to like it).. but I wasn’t expecting to find something like this. I figured with his parents badgering him to go to AA meetings and such, maybe he’d drop the partying in time to turn his life around.. but apparently not. I know it’s been over a year since this blog post, but I just wanted to stop in and say I’m so sorry you lost a friend. He will be remembered.

I’m having a pretty shitty time at work right now so I figured “I’d ease the building stress by finding the lyrics to that song that I keep humming over and over in my head” but as if they all knew and were playing a wicked joke on me, Seabourn blocked all the lyric web sites. I was about to go postal till I found this unblocked page. I read the words and to my disbelief felt full and happy just from reading these lyrics. It just goes to show…”what a simple but beautiful song can do” <3
